LG Infinia 47LW5600 47-Inch Cinema 3D 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV

After 24 hours, we are very pleased with this set.

The superb image quality A.. It was good to the table, and I just finished the calibration of Disney, and is even better now. The lighting is even from edge to edge and corner to corner, the edges are sharp, with no jagged edges.

B. Very good sound. We went with CFL backlight instead of the LED / LCD sets because the CFL tend to have a little more space for built-in speakers, so directional sound. This set has good internal speakers and sounds fantastic.

Whole plasma / LCD universe is short-term technology and will be replaced with much better technology, long before they share in the TV starts to wear out, so we set a realistic price and got a much better prepared than we had hoped.

It was a little more difficult to gather the necessary support to all, but it was not difficult, but not obvious. The manual is about 20 models, and illustrations are not as easy to make. However, in just a few scratches on the head to understand.

Like many a nerd I am, it is surprising that this is the first big screen HDTV we have. The 30 + year old CRT work well, but when the digital local channels have also gone hi-definition. I was tired of seeing half of the center of the show and to bite the bullet.

There are occasional users, and I take one exception to the advice I received while shopping: do not go, "How much TV you need a 'graphic or advice. I went from" How long do I have to replace the CRT monitor? "Method and size, as well as close as possible. And 'even bigger than we really need, but I'm not on the market

This LG 42LK520 replace my beloved Toshiba CRT TV (which, to my dismay, refused to age or provide any indication it was ready to leave and to justify my purchase) so I can not require large sophisticated when it comes to compare modern flat screen TV.

That said, I could not be happier with the LG. The image is sharp and true. Saturation setting is perhaps a bit brighter than life - I'm sure can be handled easily, but I like to see the world through bright green grass and blue sky incredibly, so I n 't have bothered. The TruMotion works well and so far I have not seen or image blur afterwards. The sound quality is good but not great, but it means little to me when I run through my home theater system that is very old the whole experience quite wonderful. I even like the subtle light that shines in the lower right corner to change from red to blue when you turn on your TV - nothing to do with the performance of television, but it's just cool and makes the TV look expensive. I love this TV violently, and sometimes turn on just to see how the image is beautiful.

For about $ 650 with free shipping, how could I not be happy? Delivery was amazingly fast. Installation was relatively easy, although the installation manual is simple enough to be relatively useless. Incidentally, if you connect your satellite receiver, press "enter" on the remote control and selecting "HDMI" - the manual does not tell you.

None of the minor weaknesses (like the sound - not bad, just not hit me) is signficant enough to fall outside the scope of five stars. At that price, this TV offers incredible value. I really could not be happier with this purchase.
